Recently, Professor Dai Fangyin, Chairman of the Chinese Sericulture Society, Director of the State Key Laboratory of Silkworm Genome Biology, Chief Scientist of the National Sericulture Industry Technology System, Dean of the School of Sericulture, Textile and Biomass of Southwest University, and Yangtze River Scholar, Feng Huaisong, former director of the Economic and Crop Division of the Ministry of Agriculture, and Fang Dewen, deputy general manager and researcher of Shandong Guangtong Silkworm Breeding Group Company, came to Hanyin County to investigate the development of the sericulture industry. Chen Kang, Director of Ankang Sericulture Industry Development Center, Zhang Baohua, Party Secretary and Chairman of Ankang Silkworm Breeding Farm Co., Ltd., Wang Xiajun, Deputy County Mayor of the County Government, and Jiang Xiaojun, Director of the County Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, accompanied the investigation.

On behalf of Fangyin and his delegation, they went deep into the 1,000-acre sericulture industry joint construction base of Xinglong Jiayuan, Pingliang Town, Hanyin County, and learned in detail about the “Three Ones” industrial development model, and discussed the mobile labor-saving silkworm platform and small silkworm environmental intelligence Discussions were held on the application of control systems and the development of sericulture products.

Dai Fangyin fully affirmed the achievements made in Hanyin’s sericulture breeding model innovation, comprehensive utilization, and product research and development, and analyzed the current sericulture industry prospects, market conditions, and Hanyin’s sericulture industry development trends. It is understood that in recent years, Hanyin has followed the industrial development layout of “South Tea and North Guo (Mulberry) Sichuan Daoyuan”, paid close attention to the “Three Ones” industrial development model, implemented the “Four Modernizations and Five Unifications” standards, and focused on industrial revitalization. Taking this opportunity, we have cultivated and developed 5 key sericulture towns, 23 key villages, 6 sericulture demonstration villages, and 125 large sericulture households. In the first half of the year, 700 acres of mulberry orchards were built, 3,500 acres of low-maintenance mulberry orchards, and 5,600 acres of mulberry orchards were interplanted and intercultured; 4 new silkworm rooms were built, and 1,000 square meters of standardized labor-saving silkworm beds were added; 7,756 silkworm seeds were distributed, and 400 tons of cocoons were produced. The output value of silkworm cocoons was 17.6 million yuan.
