Workers make history, and workers create the future. Labor is the source of all happiness and the only way to all success. Workers are the most glorious, valuable and noble.
Today, we are here to solemnly commend the advanced collectives, model workers and advanced workers in the national textile industry. On behalf of the China Textile Industry Federation, I would like to express warm congratulations and high respect to the advanced collectives and individuals who have been commended! I would like to extend my guidance and guidance to Vice Chairman Gu Xiulian and Vice Chairman Hao Jianxiu, as well as the leaders of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, who have long cared about and supported the development of the textile industry. 1. Labor is glorious, and the selection and commendation of textile model workers encourages advancement and innovation
As the mother industry of China’s modern industry, the textile industry has always been an industrial sector where labor heroes emerge in large numbers, innovative practices are enriched, and the spirit of labor flows. In 1950, the party and the country commended model workers for the first time, and 25 workers in the textile industry were commended. In 1953, the then Ministry of Textile Industry and the National Committee of China Textile Trade Unions named and commended 105 national textile industry model workers and 24 national textile industry model units for the first time. For more than 70 years, generations of textile workers have shed blood and sweat, contributed wisdom and strength, written career glory and life legends with hard work, created the value of the times and social wealth, and served the prosperity of the country and the happiness of the people with their beautiful undertakings. Groups of model workers and advanced workers stood out. Hao Jianxiu, Zhao Mengtao, Huang Baomei, Gui Lanzhen, Deng Jianjun, etc. These names mark history and influence the times. The stars are bright and shining, and the fire is passed down from generation to generation. It is precisely the generations of textile workers represented by model workers who have not forgotten their original aspirations, kept their mission in mind, forged ahead, and were willing to contribute, which has created the pattern and momentum of China’s textile industry as “the world of clothing and quilts”.
The new era calls for new actions, and new careers create new heroes. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, under the leadership of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, China has achieved a historic leap from standing up, getting rich, and becoming strong, and has successfully embarked on a new journey of comprehensively building a modern socialist country. The textile industry resonates with national rejuvenation, the goal of becoming a textile power has been basically achieved, and the industry’s highquality development has opened up a new situation. In this process, a large number of outstanding teams and talents have emerged in the industry. The collectives and individuals we commend today are advanced representatives among the more than 20 million contemporary textile workers. A total of 324 national textile industry model workers were commended this time, including 187 front-line workers, accounting for 57.7% of the model workers, 77 business leaders, 60 managers and scientific and technological personnel; 24 national advanced workers in the textile industry, and the main subjects came from all over the country. Comrades below the division level in the textile industry authorities and grassroots textile and garment associations; 100 advanced collectives in the national textile industry, including 62 front-line collectives (teams, workshops).
The glory of labor is particularly dazzling, and the strong voice of struggle stirs people’s hearts. Among the advanced individuals, there are people like Yu Yunyun in the spinning workshop of Xiajin Renhe Textile Technology Co., Ltd. who have been working hard and professionally for decades; there are people like Zhou Lichen of Heilan Group, one of the “National Upward-looking and Good Young People”, who has established a National brands and inheritance of national culture; like Gong Yuanbin of Chongqing Golden CatTextile Equipment Co., Ltd. and Xu Lianlong of the Technology Center of Qingdao Hailiya Group Co., Ltd., based on the industry, we need to strive for excellence, innovation and creation ; There are people like Wang Tao of Beijing Fangsheng Fashion Technology Group Co., Ltd., the “most beautiful returner to work”, who bravely shoulder social responsibilities and serve the overall situation; there are people like Wei Wei of the Investment Promotion Bureau of the Management Committee of Shuyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, who promote industry to serve local development. Among the advanced collectives, there are Jiangsu Sunshine Group Co., Ltd., which has achieved the “Grand Slam” in the field of quality; there is Sanyuan Holding Group Co., Ltd., which has launched a new smart zero-carbon development model in the park; there is innovative lean management, which has cultivated the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The spinning workshop of Lingxian Hengfeng Textile Co., Ltd. is a representative and national labor model; the textile shop of Oriental International (Group) Co., Ltd. has the courage to innovate and serve the national strategy.Play the leading and exemplary role of advanced models. Guide enterprises to establish innovation studios for model workers and craftsmen talents. Strengthen publicity and guidance, vigorously commend and promote advanced deeds and outstanding achievements, create an atmosphere of respecting, learning from, cherishing, and catching up with the advanced, and create more favorable conditions for the advanced to play its role. Actively guide industry workers to establish the concepts of hard work, honest work, and creative work. Tell good industry stories and vigorously promote the spirit of model workers, labor spirit and craftsmanship. Let the trend of the most glorious, noble, great and beautiful labor become common in the industry and become the mainstream value, so as to better unleash the enthusiasm and creativity of the majority of industrial workers.
Third, we must be pragmatic and innovative, and improve the training system for industrial worker team building through capacity building. “Those who are small should not be ambitious, and those who are short should not be deep.” Improving ability should be regarded as the key. Focusing on the new requirements for the high-quality development of the “technology, fashion, and green” industries and the new changes in the workforce itself, we will continue to strengthen the construction of the industrial worker training system. Focus on cultivating industry leading talents, high-end innovative talents, professional and technical talents and vocational skills talents. Enrich the carriers and means of training work, strengthen the organic connection between industry vocational education, continuing education, and general education, adhere to the integration of industry and education, school-enterprise cooperation, and the integration of work and learning, and form a collaborative education model that combines industry, academia, research, and application, so that workers can learn Have a certain ambition, specialize in learning, and persevere in learning. Further leverage the role of “Light of Textile” in science and technology education as a reward. Promote the training and exchange of textile talents in the east, middle and west, and resolve the imbalance of regional talents. According to new developments and changes, we should improve the skills evaluation methods of industry workers, continuously optimize the industry labor and skills competition system, and establish a labor and skills competition mechanism based on corporate job training and technical competitions and with industry vocational skills competition as the main body. Expand the scope of competition content, improve competition quality, promote competition results, spread competition culture, and cultivate more “national textile industry technical experts” and “Chinese textile great craftsmen”.
Fourth, we must put people first and promote the value goal of building a team of industrial workers with responsible construction. General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that wholeheartedly seeking the interests of the working class and the working people is the fundamental requirement of our country’s socialist system, and it is also the most important and basic task to give play to the main force of our country’s working class and the working people. We must adhere to people-oriented and practice people-centered development ideas, continuously deepen and enrich industry social responsibility work, realize, maintain and develop the legitimate rights and interests of industry workers, build harmonious labor relations, and help industry workers achieve decent work, Comprehensive development. Strengthen the orientation of employment priority, promote high-quality employment and entrepreneurship through high-quality development of the industry, and create more and better development opportunities and growth space for workers. Promote and improve the implementation of the training, use, evaluation, and assessment mechanisms for skilled workers, smooth the career development channels for skilled talents, guide employees to establish the concept of lifelong learning, continuously improve technical skills, and ensure that the team of industrial workers is passed down from generation to generation. Guide more attention and assistance to front-line workers, migrant workers, employees in need and other groups. Create an environment that “respects labor, respects knowledge, respects talents, and respects creation”, guides and promotes the industry to achieve more rewards for those who work more, and more rewards for those with higher skills, increase the labor remuneration of workers, especially front-line workers, and enhance the benefits of industrial workers Sense of happiness, security, honor.
