Bangladesh will restart three state-owned textile factories
According to a report by The Independent on December 20, the Bangladesh government will comprehensively reform and modernize 13 state-owned textile factories through the PPP model with a view to putting them back into operation. Chaudhry, Minister of Textiles and Jute of Bangladesh, said that the 13 textile mills will be managed by the Bangladesh Textile Mills Corporation (BTMC), and the private companies selected through bidding will have the right to operate the 13 textile mills for 30 years.
