Shenghong Refining and Chemical Integration Project
As the leading project of Lianyungang Petrochemical Base, the financing, design, procurement, construction and other work of Shenghong Refining and Chemical Project are currently continuing to be vigorously promoted. The process package design, overall design, and basic design review have been basically completed, and all orders for ultra-long-cycle equipment have been completed. In November, the civil engineering and installation works of the project began one after another; on December 10, the piling construction of the supporting 300,000-ton crude oil terminal was completed ahead of schedule, laying a solid foundation for subsequent advancement. In 2020, the project will gradually complete the pile foundation and first-level underground pipe construction of the entire plant, long-cycle and regular-cycle equipment ordering, detailed device design, and steel structure construction as planned. The Shenghong Refining and Chemical Project will be accelerated in accordance with the overall goal of handing over the device on June 30, 2021 and commissioning on December 31, 2021.
Silban Petrochemical Acrylonitrile Technology Transformation and Capacity Expansion Project
In order to adapt to the development needs of Lianyungang petrochemical and downstream industries, fully extend the existing industrial chain, and further improve market competitiveness and risk resistance, Sierbon Petrochemical plans to develop acrylonitrile series industries, and in April 2018 Started an acrylonitrile technological transformation and capacity expansion project with a total investment of 3.39 billion yuan. After scientific organization and hard work by all the construction personnel, the project was successfully launched in September this year and has now entered the trial production stage.
Honggang Petrochemical PTA Phase II Project
The Honggang Petrochemical 2.4 million tons/year PTA expansion project has a total investment of 3.858 billion yuan. It adopts internationally leading production technology. After it is put into operation, it will greatly reduce the company’s production costs and improve the company’s industry competitiveness and market share. At present, the main device frame and equipment foundation of the project, as well as part of the single main structure of the building, have been completed. The installation of underground pipe networks and steel structures is in progress. It is expected that 35% of the overall construction progress will be completed within the year. Currently, the project is progressing in an orderly manner in accordance with the target of delivery in October 2020.
Rongtai Commercial Cryogenic Storage Tank
The Rongtai commercial cryogenic storage tank farm project is currently constructing the first phase of storage tanks and supporting storage and transportation facilities. It has built 14 storage tanks with a tank capacity of approximately 257,000 cubic meters. At present, the low-temperature ethylene and low-temperature liquid ammonia projects have completed 75% of the total project volume, and are expected to be completed and put into operation before the end of May 2020; the low-temperature propane and low-temperature butane projects have completed 55% of the total project volume, and are expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of September 2020.
