The Jialing District Sericulture Modern Agriculture Park located in Shuanggui Town is the core area for the development of the mulberry industry in Jialing District. The park focuses on mulberry planting and mulberry product development, covering 4 villages, with an arable area of 8,226 acres and a mulberry planting area of 7,962 acres. It radiates more than 10,000 acres of surrounding village groups and benefits more than 30,000 people. It was once evaluated by CCTV as ” The world’s largest tea mulberry base.” Under the guidance of the idea of ”establishing mulberry as an industry, diversified development, technology-driven, and ecology as the basis”, the park has successfully realized the industrial reconstruction, transformation and upgrading of traditional sericulture.
At the same time, Nanchong City includes Yingshan County Grain and Oil Modern Agriculture Park, Xichong County Grain and Oil Modern Agriculture Park, Yilong County Rice and Pharmaceutical Modern Agriculture Park, Nanchong City Shunqing District Vegetable and Grain Modern Agriculture Park, Nanchong City Five parks, including the Zanthoxylum bungeanum pig breeding and recycling modern agricultural park in Gaoping District, were named provincial three-star modern agricultural parks.
