The meltblown cloth production line with an annual output of 500 tons was put into operation at Sinopec Yizheng Chemical Fiber on March 29. This is another large-scale meltblown cloth production base built in my country after Yanshan Petrochemical. The localization rate of the project reaches more than 95%. According to reports, melt-blown cloth is the “heart” of the mask. The filter layer in the middle of the medical mask has good filtering, barrier, heat preservation and adsorption properties. After the outbreak, in order to ensure the stability of meltblown cloth prices and the supply of mask products, Sinopec, as the largest domestic supplier of medical and health raw materials, expanded twice and quickly built 16 meltblown cloth production lines, including 4 at Yanshan Petrochemical and 12 at Yizheng Chemical Fiber. strip.
It is worth mentioning that the meltblown cloth project of Yizheng Chemical Fiber was jointly constructed by Sinopec and Sinomach Hengtian, involving a total of 22 types of equipment, except for 1 emergency purchase In addition to imported fans from Taiwan, everything from core equipment melt-blown heads to ordinary bolts and accessories are urgently manufactured in China, with a localization rate of more than 95%. At the same time, in order to shorten the construction period that normally takes one year to 35 days, Yizheng Chemical Fiber broke the rules and worked day and night while designing, purchasing, manufacturing, constructing, and preparing for production, and exceeded the acceleration of Made in China.
Currently, the second meltblown cloth production line of Yizheng Chemical Fiber is undergoing joint testing and is scheduled to be put into production in early April. The eight production lines in the first phase are expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of April, and the four lines in the second phase are expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of May. After all 12 production lines are put into operation, they can produce 12 tons of N95 melt-blown cloth or 18 tons of raw materials for medical flat masks every day, which can help increase the production of 18 million disposable medical masks every day.
Previously, the two production lines of the first phase of the Yanshan Petrochemical Meltblown Nonwoven Project were put into operation ahead of schedule on March 6, with a production capacity of 6 tons per day, and the current production load rate is as high as 116% , as of the 28th, a total of 121.6 tons of meltblown cloth have been produced and sold, helping to increase the production of 120 million masks. The two production lines in the second phase will be completed and put into operation in April, and have now entered the equipment installation stage. After all four production lines are put into operation, they can produce 8 tons of N95 melt-blown cloth or 12 tons of medical flat mask raw materials every day.
It is understood that after all 16 production lines of Sinopec are put into operation in May, the annual production capacity is expected to exceed 10,000 tons and can process more than 10 billion disposable medical masks, which will contribute to global epidemic prevention.
