Recycled fiber is a fiber made from waste bottle flakes, plastics, and clothing as raw materials, and is prepared by chemical, physical and other means combined with spinning methods. It subverts the source of traditional fiber raw materials, organizes and utilizes waste resources, and creates new fibers that are almost the same as virgin fibers, achieving the unity of green, recycling and high utilization rate.
Production process
Preparing green recycled fiber is not easy. At present, it is mainly realized through physical methods and chemical methods. The physical method refers to the physical transformation of bottle flakes into fibers or other products through melt extrusion. Currently, it mainly includes two methods: (1) directly extruding bottle flakes into fibers; (2) first converting bottle flakes into particles or other products. crumbs (granulation), and then the pellets or crumbs are melted and extruded into fibers. Products produced by the physical method have poor mechanical properties and are difficult to meet textile standards. They are generally used as fillers, but this method is relatively simple to produce and low in cost.
The chemical method is to first depolymerize the recycled polyester into smaller molecules, then polycondensate into high-quality polyester chips, and then spin the chips into long Silk. This method enables complete recycling. In comparison, chemical methods have developed slowly due to limitations in efficiency, raw materials and processing. Therefore, at present, most domestic recycling of recycled PET bottle flakes is achieved by physical methods.
The current market demand for knitted products is changing from high quality and low price to technology, fashion and green. Therefore, the development of the knitting industry is inseparable from the development and application of new fiber materials. At present, in both domestic and foreign markets, people are more interested in functional, low-carbon, and environmentally friendly knitted fabrics, so recycled fibers are widely used in knitted products.
Case display
1. Recycled nylon/ The elastic fabric woven from recycled polyester/spandex has a four-dimensional stretch structure with high elasticity, which can effectively avoid excessive muscle tremors caused by the ups and downs of the body during exercise, and regulate body temperature while wicking away sweat.
2. Seamless underwear made of Greenpoly renewable polyester (75 D), environmentally friendly, low-carbon, moisture-wicking, Has good elasticity, wear resistance and dimensional stability.
3. The Swedish Arctic Fox sweatshirt is made of solution-dyed renewable polyester fiber and wool, which is warm and comfortable wool. The jacket has a knit shell and a soft brushed interior; the mesh fleece lining in the pockets is made from recycled polyester.
4. Use 40 D recycled polyester filament + 80S pure cotton yarn on a weft knitting circular machine above E40 or high speed High-density knitted fabric woven on warp knitting machines, the product has high elasticity and good drape.
5. Use 50 ~ 75 D recycled polyester + (40S ~ 70S) compact spinning cotton yarn, or 50 ~ 75 D Knitted suit fabric made of recycled polyester + (Nm 50 ~ Nm 80) wool yarn, which is stiff and has moderate extensibility.
6. On the Santoni SMDJ2T or E14 or E16 double-sided jacquard machine, use 50 to 75 The weft-knitted shoe material produced by D recycled polyester + recycled nylon combined with colored yarn can form two-color or multi-color patterns. The recycled polyester improves the stiffness and shape retention of the shoe upper, providing information for the design and production of circular knitted shoe uppers. Expansion capacity.
