According to Jin Lianchuang’s price monitoring, the price of polyester staple fiber has shown an overall downward trend in 2020, with the average market price in the first half of the year being 6,131 yuan. / ton, the highest point is 7,050 yuan / ton, the lowest point is 5,300 yuan / ton, the price amplitude is 33.01%, while the domestic market average price in the same period last year was 8,453 yuan / ton, a year-on-year decrease of 27.36%. However, because it did not closely follow the decline in raw materials, and caught the express train of masks in April and May, profits increased significantly. The average price in the first half of the year was 585 yuan/ton, a year-on-year increase of 24.2%.
