According to a report by CNN on October 8, fashion fast-moving brand H&M Starting from October 12, the “Looop” clothing recycling system will be introduced in the brand store in Stockholm, Sweden. The old clothing is cleaned, chopped into fibers, then spun into new yarn, and finally made into new fashion items.

This system does not use water or chemicals. The environmental impact is therefore much lower than producing clothing from scratch.

As early as 2013, H&M Group launched a global clothing recycling plan. The brand’s goal is to reach Recycle all its materials or source them more sustainably by 2030. According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, 16.9 million tons of textile waste was generated in the United States in 2017, and the recycling rate was only 15.2%. </p
