Recently, due to the gradual cooling of the weather, the return of foreign trade orders, and the vigorous promotion of e-commerce “Double Eleven”, orders in domestic textile and clothing industries have also continued to increase significantly, and the “order queue” situation has reappeared.
Recently, my country’s textile and apparel industry has seen signs of recovery. With the gradual decrease in temperature, the return of some foreign trade orders, and preparations for the e-commerce “Double Eleven” promotion, the orders of textile and garment companies have increased significantly in recent times. In the production workshop of a textile company in Kunshan, Jiangsu, workers need to work three times a day. Only shifts can meet the needs of production orders.
It is understood that starting from July, foreign demand orders suddenly broke out, and the number of inquiries and orders increased. Some companies have placed orders until January next year. Customs data shows that in August, the national textile and clothing exports achieved positive monthly growth for the first time this year.
The arrival of the “Double Eleven” e-commerce promotion has also stimulated demand in the textile and apparel industry. Through continuous technological integration and innovation, some companies have launched a large number of home textile products with antibacterial, mite removal, sleep aid and other functions, which not only promotes industrial transformation and upgrading, but also meets the different demands of consumers.
Li Laibin, Vice President of China Home Textiles Industry Association: Consumer demands are a driving force for the upgrading of home textile companies. Enterprises should increase their investment in product research and development and develop different products according to different groups of people to be more relevant and in line with the actual needs of consumers.
