Recently, the four torch heads of the torch device in the gas production workshop of the 300,000 tons/year coal-to-ethylene glycol project of Shaanxi Weihe Binzhou Chemical Co., Ltd. were successfully ignited at once, creating good conditions for the commissioning of the Binzhou company’s ethylene glycol project.

The flare device is an important safety and environmental protection facility. It is mainly used to burn the waste gas generated during the startup and shutdown of the production unit. Therefore, the torch device in the gas production workshop is a prerequisite for the commissioning of Binzhou Company’s ethylene glycol project. .

The flare device adopts the EPC general contracting model , the design, procurement, and construction are all completed by the 711 Research Institute of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation. The gas production workshop will hold regular engineering meetings with the general contractor at the construction site every Monday. The workshop management team will solve the problems reported by the torch general contractor one by one.

In accordance with the requirements of the group company, the gas production workshop took multiple measures to solidly advance the torch debugging work. The ignition task of the torch permanent lamp in the gas production workshop was completed. The torch professional team immediately devoted its energy to finishing the rest of the work of the torch device. The remaining commissioning work in the gas production workshop is also in full progress.

The 300,000 tons/year coal-to-ethylene glycol project of Shaanxi Weihe Binzhou Chemical Co., Ltd. of Shaanxi Coal Chemical Weihua Group is the earliest coal-to-ethylene glycol project established in Shaanxi Province. It has a leading and exemplary role for Shaanxi, a major coal-producing province. The project construction site is located in Xinminyuan Modern Coal Chemical Industrial Park, Bin County, and the project covers an area of 600,000 square meters. In April 2016, Shaanxi Weihe Binzhou Chemical Co., Ltd. signed a CTEG technology licensing contract and engineering design contract for the 300,000 tons/year coal-to-ethylene glycol project with Gaochem and Donghua Engineering. The original owner of the project is Shaanxi Binchang Mining Group Co., Ltd. On November 19, 2014, the 300,000-ton coal-to-ethylene glycol project of Binchang Mining Group was officially handed over to Shaanxi Weihe Coal Chemical Group Co., Ltd.

The project construction content includes main projects such as gasification equipment, purification equipment, and ethylene glycol synthesis equipment, as well as public supporting facilities such as water supply and drainage, desalted water stations, power supply, heating, and fire protection. , storage and transportation projects and environmental protection projects such as waste gas treatment, wastewater treatment, and solid waste disposal. After the completion of the project, the annual output of ethylene glycol will be 300,000 tons. By-products: crude DMC 17,576 tons/year, DMO heavy components 5,336 tons/year, fusel oil 5,920 tons/year, the light fraction is 13,440 tons/year, the ethylene glycol heavy fraction is 6,048 tons/year, and the sulfur is 4,321.6 tons/year. The total project investment is 5.495 billion yuan, of which 444 million yuan is environmental protection investment. It is expected to be fully completed and put into pre-production by the end of this year.
