Coordinated by the head of the Shishi City Industry and Information Technology Bureau, the Dyeing and Finishing Industry Association solicited opinions from most steam-consuming enterprises, and Hongshan Thermal Power reported and obtained the consent of the Provincial Electric Power Dispatching Center to confirm Steam supply will be suspended during the Spring Festival of 2021.

Recently, there has been a notice in the printing and dyeing circle that some enterprises in Keqiao, Shaoxing have shifted production peaks, and the production enterprises involved include many textile enterprises.
Peak-shifting production and peak-shifting electricity consumption will cause some order production to be stagnant and some orders to be backlogged. These Orders will be quickly restored to normal production after power restrictions are lifted.
From the demand side, it is also in line with the market development pattern in previous years. On the one hand, in order to avoid the traditional Spring Festival holiday, domestic and foreign customers will place orders one and a half to two months in advance. This year, due to the combined impact of the epidemic and market conditions, the market may enter the Spring Festival vacuum period earlier than in previous years, which has also prompted this wave of orders to be placed intensively, and downstream traders and garment factories have made purchases.
During this period, power consumption in Zhejiang was off-peak, and some orders from printing and dyeing factories were not delivered to customers. Some printing and dyeing factories bought generator sets to barely carry out production, and the dyeing fees were fine-tuned. Fujian Shishi Thermal Power will stop gas supply on January 30.
