Review of project start conditions

Overview of the 400,000-ton ethylene glycol project
Shaanxi Yuneng Chemical Materials Co., Ltd.’s coal-to-produce 1.2 million tons/year ethylene glycol phase I 400,000 tons/year ethylene glycol start-up project is the coal-to-clean fuel base of Yuneng Group Company in Qingshui Industrial Park, Yushen Industrial Zone and a start-up project of a high-end chemical materials base, with a total planned area of 1,711 acres. The project is expected to invest 6.243 billion yuan, and the environmental protection investment is 532.6274 million yuan. The construction period is 30 months. It is planned to be completed and put into production in June 2022.
The project adopts production processes such as coal-to-syngas. Carbon monoxide and hydrogen are indirectly synthesized into ethylene glycol through carbonylation, coupling, and hydrogenation, and dimethyl carbonate and crude oil are co-produced. Products such as ethanol, mixed alcohols, sulfur, liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, etc. The main equipment includes coal-to-syngas, purification and separation, ethylene glycol synthesis, boiler thermoelectricity, air separation units and supporting public works.
The project construction content includes coal gasification equipment, purification equipment, H2/CO separation equipment, ethylene glycol equipment, etc. Public works and supporting auxiliary facilities include: 3×350t/h high-temperature and high-pressure circulating fluidized bed boiler + 2×30MW pump-back steam turbine generator unit, air separation unit, circulating water station, desalted water station, storage and transportation facilities, and sewage treatment Stand and wait.
