The export of kitchen supplies and table textiles grew relatively slowly, between 28% and 42%.

04 Importers maintain optimistic sales expectations but sales declined month-on-month
July , the National Retail Federation (NRF) raised its full-year retail forecast for 2021. It is expected that retail sales in the U.S. market will increase by 10.5% to 13.5% in 2021 compared with 2020, ranging from 4.44 trillion to 4.56 trillion US dollars, which is approximately 5 percentage points higher than the previous forecast released in February. During the same period, data released by the U.S. Department of Commerce showed that monthly sales of U.S. home furnishings and furniture declined month-on-month. Its sales in June were US$11.83 billion, a decrease of 3.6% from the revised retail sales of US$12.27 billion in May. The U.S. Department of Commerce reported the largest decline among various categories of goods, but the overall retail situation has stabilized. In addition, as the global epidemic gradually eases, offline transactions are expected to resume operations, helping to restore prosperity to the global trade market. In July, the American Home Textiles Association announced that the New York Home Textile Market Week offline events will resume this fall, while retaining an online platform to accommodate the exhibition needs of suppliers and retailers who cannot attend ordering events in New York due to travel restrictions. Domestically, the Autumn Guangzhou Commodity Fair is also preparing to be held online and offline simultaneously. </p
