“Our recent order volume is pretty good, with a total volume of 20,000 meters. The sales volume of autumn and winter fabrics is also pretty good.” A salesperson specializing in spring Said the textile boss of Yafang and Polyester Taffeta.
“We mainly make rayon, but we have not had any hot-selling products recently. It is better than July, but still not ideal.” said a textile boss in Yishengze area.
…
After visiting, it seems that the textile market has become more polarized in recent times. Some time ago, some textile bosses told the editor that the market situation is compared with the seven-year trend. The month has improved slightly, and orders have begun to be gradually issued, but other textile bosses do not think so, and the lack of orders still exists…
Down It’s not that the market is bad, it’s just that sales are limited!
To be honest, there have always been hot-selling products since the epidemic, from the anti-epidemic fabrics at the beginning to the hot various elastic ones now Class fabrics and hot-selling fabrics have always existed, but they just cannot satisfy all textile bosses.
“Recently, I heard that elastic fabrics are selling very well. Most of the orders we receive are orders of several kilometers, which is better than in July. “A textile boss who specializes in elastic fabrics said.
“We haven’t had any hot-selling products recently. I heard that T8 is hot-selling, but we don’t do it, so the business is still the same. It’s nothing compared to July. It’s a big change,” said a textile boss who specializes in cotton interwoven products.
So according to the above two textile bosses, it can be seen that it is not that the current market is not good, it is just that they do not make the hot-selling varieties. But relatively speaking, the market situation has indeed improved in the recent stage compared with the previous period. Many textile bosses have said that the recent sales volume of autumn and winter fabrics is better than before, and the number of inquiries has also increased. However, there are good things and bad things. This year, some textile bosses will always suffer. But what makes the editor puzzled is why these bad textile bosses don’t take advantage of the high temperature to take a holiday?
Holiday on hot days? It does not solve the fundamental problem! Lose even more?
After interviews, we learned that many textile bosses complain that the current market is not good, but they still refuse to take holidays and stop production. There are two main reasons for this. point.
1. The problem of worker loss caused by the suspension of production will reappear
If the factory suspends production and goes on holiday , textile workers will also face unemployment. Assuming that the minimum wage given by the boss, a thousand yuan cannot meet today’s consumer demand, then the workers will inevitably leave their jobs and find new jobs, and leaving the job will make the textile bosses face Recruiting again. The difficulty of recruiting workers has always been a major problem for major textile companies. No textile boss is willing to lose the workers he has worked so hard to recruit because he cannot receive orders and stop production.
2. Holiday shutdown costs will be more than continuing to weave inventory
A textile boss has calculated an account. Taking a textile factory with 400 looms as an example, the total cost of water, electricity, depreciation and various expenses is about 30,000 yuan per day. The cost of weaving is wasted. A smaller manufacturing plant will incur thousands of dollars in expenses if it stops production for one day. Although weaving inventory may cost more, at least the weaved inventory can be used for sales. Even selling at a low price will be more cost-effective than the tens of thousands of dollars wasted by suspending production during the holidays. In addition, workers must be paid the minimum wage even if production is suspended and on vacation.
So for various reasons, textile bosses would rather weave inventory and sell it at a low price later than suspend production during the holidays. After all, no one wants to waste the money.
Although there are orders, we are still not optimistic about the market situation in the second half of the year
Although the “Golden Nine and Silver Ten” are coming, many textile bosses are not optimistic about the market in the second half of the year. First of all, the demand this year will definitely be much less than in previous years, and the profits of many gray fabrics have fallen too much this year. Some bosses said that this year’s profits are about the same as those in previous years. Compared with previous years, there has been a decrease of at least 50% and some are even losing money, so even if there are orders, some are not making money.
For textile bosses, the biggest difficulty this year may be inventory. The inventory days of manufacturers are as high as 120 days. In previous years, two months was already a lot. But this year, few manufacturers have no inventory. They have more or less one or two months of inventory. In addition, there is the issue of payment collection. Many textile manufacturers have no inventory. The bosses all said that this year’s payment has been delayed compared with previous years. In the past, some payments could be returned in one or two months, but this year it will take at least three months or even longer. If the payment is in arrears, the company’s funds will have difficulties in recycling. This makes this year even more sad, which is the main reason why textile bosses are not optimistic about the second half of the year.
However, the editor believes that no matter what, everyone should still have hope for the future.Although this year is indeed difficult, at least the most difficult period during the epidemic has passed, and the following days can still be overcome. There are not no orders now, the market is still functioning, as long as you persist, there will always be orders Issued!
