There are many types of chemical fiber filaments for polyester fabrics. According to the glossiness, they can be divided into “glossy filaments” and “glossy filaments”. “Semi-glossy yarn” and “matt yarn”, chemical fiber yarn itself has very good gloss, so the matting agent titanium dioxide is added to the spinning to eliminate the luster. At the same time, we can also change the luster of polyester fabrics by changing the cross-sectional shape of polyester, performing alkali treatment, twisting, etc.
If divided according to the spinning form, it is divided into: POY, FDY, DTY, POY pre-oriented yarn, commonly known as raw yarn, FDY and DTY are all products processed by it. Usually there are: 26D, 30D, 50D, 68D, 75D, 100D, 150D and other polyester POY.
FDY Full Stretched yarn, commonly called “filament” in the market, is made of POY by stretching, heating and shaping. Common ones include 30D, 50D, 63D, 68D, 75D, and 150D polyester FDY. But now FDY is made through direct spinning and one-step method.
DTY stretch textured yarn, commonly known as “low elastic yarn” in the market, is made of POY by stretching and setting and then false twisting. DTY can also be divided into “no mesh”, “light mesh” and “heavy mesh” according to whether there are network points; the common ones are 50D, 75D, 150D, 300D polyester DTY; under the same conditions, POY The color is the fastest and darkest, FDY is the second, and DTY is the lightest.
