Flame-retardant fabrics include the following types:
1. Elastic flame-retardant fabric – This kind of fabric is blended with 95% cotton fiber and 5% spandex fiber. In addition to the excellent characteristics of cotton fiber, it has elasticity due to the addition of spandex, so it is more comfortable to wear and has better wrinkle resistance after being made into clothes.
2. Cotton flame-retardant fabric – This fabric is composed of 100% natural fiber “cotton” and has the characteristics of breathable, moisture-permeable, comfortable to wear, and soft to the touch that cotton fiber has. There are various specifications such as twill, plain weave, satin and weft knitted fabrics.
3.C/N flame retardant fabric – This fabric is blended with 88% cotton fiber and 12% nylon fiber. It has the characteristics of good wear resistance, better strength, and softer feel. The wear life of the work clothes made of it can be extended by more than 50%, and it can better prevent sparks, arcs, metal droplets, etc.
4. CVC flame retardant fabric – This fabric is blended with more than 60% cotton fiber and less than 40% polyester fiber. It combines the excellent characteristics of cotton and polyester fibers, and has the characteristics of good strength, good durability and wrinkle resistance.
5. The flame-retardant oxford fabric is made of polyester fabric. The flame-retardant oxford fabric has undergone a flame-retardant process independently developed by the textile industry. It will automatically extinguish when the fire source is removed, or it will be extinguished within a few seconds. The so-called flame retardant does not mean that the textiles after flame retardant treatment will not burn when exposed to a fire source, but means that the fabric can reduce its flammability in the flame, slow down the speed of spread, and will not cause a large area of burn; and leave the flame Afterwards, it can self-extinguish quickly and no longer burn or smolder.
