600D, 210D, and 420D are just the numbers of Oxford fabric materials. D is the abbreviation of Danier, the unit of measurement for fiber thickness. The larger the number in front of D, the thicker the fiber. 210D, 420D, and 600D fibers range from fine to thick. 600D Oxford cloth is stronger than 420D and 210D, and the price is generally slightly more expensive.
The warp and weft yarns of 600d Oxford cloth are all made of polyester DTY300D yarn, which is interwoven on a spray faucet loom using thick-point changing permeable tissue. After the fabric is relaxed, scoured, pre-shaped, alkali reduced, and softened and set, the reverse side of the fabric is then passed through a rubber-plastic polyester layer. It has fine texture, soft luster, and good waterproof and fire resistance.
The warp of 420D Oxford cloth is made of nylon air-varying yarn, and the weft is made of 160D nylon air-varying yarn. It has a plain weave structure and the product is woven by water jet. After being dyed, finished and coated, the gray fabric has the advantages of soft hand feel, strong drape, novel style, waterproof and fireproof properties.
Compared to Ordinary 210D Oxford cloth or 420D Oxford cloth, 600D Oxford cloth has a certain waterproof function, soft to the touch and very durable.
