Flame retardant finishing of cotton flame retardant fabric

Thermal protection performance safety protection flame retardant knitted fabric
Generally speaking, the thinner the cotton flame-retardant fabric is, the more difficult it is to reach the standard for strength after flame-retardant finishing. According to the GB/T411-2008 test method for first-class cotton printing and dyeing fabrics (adopting GB/T3923.1-1997.5.CM Sample method, MICRO-350 CRE tester). For this reason, we have adjusted the following process formulas so that the finished fabric can meet the requirements.
1. Use powerful environmental protection flame retardants. Although the flame retardants currently used in the market are relatively low in price, they have a large loss of strength and contain toxic ingredients such as formaldehyde. Therefore, we do not advocate the use. We generally use more cost-effective and environmentally friendly strong protection flame retardants. The strength loss of ordinary flame retardants is about 50%, while the loss of environmentally friendly strong protection flame retardants is only 10-15%. % and does not contain harmful substances such as formaldehyde.
2. Using long-staple cotton raw materials and ring spinning technology. According to actual comparisons, long-staple cotton ring-spun yarn is 30% stronger than yarn spun from ordinary craft materials. At the same time, due to the reduction of breakages in the production process, production efficiency is generally improved and losses are reduced.
Achieving high-strength and environmentally friendly cotton flame-retardant fabrics is not the ultimate goal. It is the general trend to seize the market’s increasing requirements for cost performance and comprehensively consider the development of new products. A little change is a big progress. There is no end to technological innovation and it requires unremitting efforts.
