Indonesia launches safeguard measures investigation on imported fabrics

On September 20, 2019, the WTO Safeguards Committee released the notification on the filing of safeguard measures submitted to it by the Indonesian delegation. On September 18, 2019, at the request of the Indonesian Textile Association, the Indonesian Safeguards Committee initiated a safeguard investigation on imported fabrics (Fabrics). Stakeholders should register their responses in paper and electronic forms within 15 days from the date of filing the case. The hearing is scheduled to be held on September 30, 2019, from 2 to 4 pm. Stakeholders participating in the hearing should submit relevant evidence documents before September 26, 2019.
