On February 15, the staff of the “Bang” platform contacted the relevant departments of the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau of the Corps. Staff of the Bureau stated that in order to implement the requirements of the Corps Party Committee on improving cotton quality and efficiency and further optimize the Corps’ cotton variety structure, To improve the concentration of main planting varieties, the Corps Cotton Association organized a Corps Cotton Variety Recommendation Meeting. The expert group conducted a review of cotton planting varieties in each division and city based on cotton fiber quality supervision and testing, variety display, public inspection data of each division and city, and improved seed production. Reviewed and made recommendations on cotton varieties in 2023.
It is reported that the cotton varieties recommended by the Corps Cotton Association are: in southern Xinjiang and the 13th Division cotton area, the main planting variety Tahe No. 2 of the First Division is recommended, with the matching varieties Xinluzhong No. 82 and Yuanmianxin 13305; the Second Division The main cultivar Xinluzhong No. 38 is paired with Xinluzhong No. 55 and Jinken 1565; the third division’s main cultivar Tahe No. 2 is paired with Xinluzhong No. 61 and Huiyuan 720; the thirteenth division’s main cultivar Ta is River No. 2. In the northern Xinjiang cotton area, it is recommended that the main variety Zhongmian 113 grown by the Fourth Division; H33-1-4, the main variety grown by the Fifth Division, be paired with Xinluzao 78; Zhongmian 113, the main variety grown by the Sixth Division, should be paired with Huiyuan 720, Xinluzao No. 80; the main varieties Z1112 and K07-12 of the Seventh Division are planted, and the matching varieties are Jinke 20; Zhongmian 113; Xinluzao 84, the main variety grown by the Tenth Division; Zhongmian 113, the main variety grown by the Twelfth Division.
