2022 is about to come to an end. The textile industry in Hongze, a small town in northern Jiangsu, has been quietly making progress this year, attracting the attention of the industry.

In October, Hongze District successfully passed the review of “Jiangsu Province High-tech Textile Industry Base”. The expert group believes that Hongze has formed a group of textile industries focusing on fiber manufacturing, recycled slicing, spinning, non-woven fabrics and clothing processing, and has cultivated a number of specialized industries. Jingte is a new “little giant” enterprise with strong innovation capabilities and sufficient development potential, forming a new segment of the textile industry.
Based on the industrial foundation formed in the past, Hongze is ushering in a wave of high-end textile industrial transfer. Seizing opportunities to strengthen and replenish chains and create a tens of billions industrial landmark is Hongze Textile’s new goal by 2025.
Undertake the “window period” of industrial transfer
A yarn “chain” connects Jiangsu and Zhejiang, and the two provinces can be called the “peerless twin prides” of the textile industry. Jiangsu’s textile industry ranks first in the country in terms of total scale, and the Suxitong high-end textile cluster ranks among the national advanced manufacturing clusters; Zhejiang’s modern textile industry is also among the best in the country, accounting for nearly half of the country’s chemical fiber output. Affected by factors such as cost, textile giants in Zhejiang and southern Jiangsu are gradually moving to northern Jiangsu. The two major textile projects of Taihua Nylon and Yuanyong Fiber, which were started in Hongze at the beginning of the year, were all invested by Zhejiang businessmen. From Huai’an City to Hongze District, everyone attaches great importance to this wave of industrial transfer.
Taihua Nylon was invested and newly built by Zhejiang Taihua New Materials Co., Ltd. “The successful cooperation between Taihua and Hongze will not only promote the company to further expand the market size, but also inject new impetus into the transformation and upgrading of the local economy.” Huai’an Municipal Party Committee Secretary Chen Zhichang met at the meeting Shi Qingdao, chairman of the company, said that he will continue to provide the best service, the best environment and the strongest guarantee for Taiwanese development in Huaihe.

It is understood that Hongze’s textile industry is mainly concentrated in the local economic development zone, with 25 of the 59 textile enterprises being above designated size. “A good industrial foundation is the basis for us to attract major projects.” The relevant person in charge of Hongze Economic Development Zone said that after years of development, the local textile industry has initially formed a trend of concentrated development of multiple key enterprises and leading sectors. In recent years, it has successively attracted a number of major projects such as the annual production of 100,000 tons of differentiated mixed fiber spinning and the annual production of 80,000 tons of high-end recycled fibers. “One of the important reasons for the Yuanyong Fiber Project to be launched in Hongze is that it can form an upstream and downstream relationship with existing enterprises, and can build a complete green differentiated polyester industry alliance to achieve Cluster development,” he said.
Currently, in order to better seize the “window period” of this round of industrial transfer, Hongze is reshaping the industrial development space. Next, no other new projects will be launched in the newly planned textile industry area in the local area, and investment will be strictly targeted in accordance with the three major sectors. In terms of regional planning, the area west of Provincial Highway 328, east of Xingfu Avenue, south of Jiuniu Road, and north of Dongting Lake Road is listed as a quality and efficiency improvement area for the textile industry, supporting and encouraging existing textile enterprises to become bigger and stronger, and other quality and efficiency areas. Promote enterprises to give priority to replacing the textile industry; at the same time, allocate 2,000 acres of land east of Provincial Highway 328 near the port area to gather textile projects; in the Special Paper Industrial ParkSewage Treatment The factory left space and installed new textile wastewater treatment equipment separately, leaving enough environmental space for the industry to expand.
Science and technology innovation supports a complete industrial chain

At present, most of the top recycled chips come from chemical recycling, but there are problems of high recycling costs and difficult hazardous waste disposal. We hope We can find a new way to use physical methods to break through the large-scale mass production of ultra-fine denier fiber-level slices within 15 days.” Zhong Jianfeng said.

Peipu Technology’s 100,000-ton polyester environmental protection slicing project, which was put into operation at the beginning of this year, is exactly what it needs to be. It is understood that in October, the company achieved a breakthrough in its physical-based 10-15d regenerated slicing technology, becoming the first company in China to achieve a breakthrough in physical-based process to mass-produce ultra-fine denier fiber-grade chips within 15d, filling a gap in the industry and allowing Hong Kong to Ze has realized a complete industrial chain from “a bottle” to “a piece of cloth”.
“The smooth implementation of the project is inseparable from local support.” Zhong Jianfeng said that the bottle washing production line of the project is planned to be put into operation by the end of the year. In June this year, Zhang Chonglin, secretary of the Hongze District Party Committee, organized a symposium for industrial entrepreneurs to proactively meet the needs of enterprises. At that time, their bottle washing production line was still under construction, and due to procedures and other factors, the steam pipeline outside the factory had not yet been connected. After the problem was reported at the meeting, it was quickly resolved in a “one-stop” manner.
According to Chen Jixiang, deputy general manager of Jiangsu Sanlian New Materials Co., Ltd., innovation is the “Huashan Road” for enterprise development, and it must constantly meet the latest market demands. For example, in order to make clothes warmer, they have developed heating fibers; in order to make clothes antibacterial and antibacterial, they have developed antibacterial and antibacterial materials. Relying on innovation, the company was also selected into the list of national-level “specialized, special and innovative” small giant enterprises last year.
