Aramid flame-retardant fabric is a natural flame-retardant fiber. The fabric produced is soft, moisture-absorbent and breathable. It is the first choice for making flame-retardant workwear. Let me help everyone popularize the new knowledge of aramid flame-retardant fabrics.
Nomex has a limiting oxygen index of 28, has a high decomposition temperature, and will not melt under high temperature conditions. Nomex has good thermal stability. After 100 hours of continuous use at a high temperature of 260°C, its strength can still maintain 65% of its original strength. It can still maintain 50% of its original strength after being used for 7 days at a high temperature of 304°C. Nomex also has excellent chemical resistance, that is, resistance to acids, alkalis, oxidants, and organic solvents. It has excellent radiation resistance and has almost no loss of strength when exposed to external rays and Y-rays of a certain intensity. NomexⅢA is available in white silk and liquid-dyed colored silk. Its white silk dyeing has passed the test. It is currently used in industrial flame retardant clothing, arc protection clothing, fire fighting clothing, racing clothing, and welding and furnace work clothing.
Aramid flame retardant fabrics have many excellent properties. They are permanently flame retardant and have excellent thermal stability. The U.S. military uses this fiber in its protective clothing. With the wide application of this fiber, DuPont has developed a series of improved Nomex products. Among them, NomexIIIA is widely used, and its composition is 93% Nomex, 5% Kevlar and 2% antistatic fiber. Kevlar is added to increase the heat, shrinkage and shock resistance of clothing under high-temperature flames and arc flash explosions. Antistatic fiber is added to reduce static electricity and improve wearing comfort.
The aramid flame-retardant fabric produced by textiles is made of imported meta-aramid, with a perfect proportion of para-aramid and conductive fiber added. Aramid IIIA series flame retardant fabrics, flame retardant fabrics are permanently flame retardant, do not melt or drip, are non-toxic when burned, have excellent chemical resistance and excellent mechanical properties.
