What is a textile chemical CAS number?
CAS number (CAS Registry Number or CAS Number, CAS Rn, CAS #), also known as CAS registration number, is a certain substance (textile auxiliaries, compounds, polymer materials, biological sequences (Biological sequences), mixtures or alloys) unique numeric identification number.
The American Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) formulates registration numbers for chemical substances. This number is an important tool for retrieving information on chemical substances with multiple names. CAS, an organization under the American Chemical Society, is responsible for assigning a CAS number to every substance that appears in the literature.
