At the Nanchong City Silk Textile and Garment Industry Research Symposium, Pu Decai introduced the research team’s investigation into Yibin and Ya’an Textile Industrial Parks. He pointed out that the development of the chemical fiber textile industry is a powerful starting point for revitalizing the traditional silk garment industry and an effective way to achieve high-quality development of the silk garment industry. Tang Shicheng believes that in order to truly turn Nanchong City’s silk spinning and garment industry into a 100-billion-dollar industry, Nanchong’s position and vision should be improved, and top-level design should be done with overall and systemic concepts. Nanchong should comprehensively consider the layout and planning of the city’s chemical fiber and textile industry from the perspective of the province’s and even the Chengdu-Chongqing twin-city economic circle construction. It should not only allow the two emerging textile industries in Pingshan and Lushan and the existing textile enterprises in Sichuan and Chongqing to become Nanchong Purchasers of chemical and chemical fiber raw materials must also allow these enterprises to become new customers of Nanchong’s printing and dyeing processing and clothing and home textiles, so as to achieve misaligned development and complementary advantages between Nanchong and the province.
