High-end talents empower the development of the textile industry
“Talent cultivation +Technological innovation” two-wheel drive empowers Nantong’s high-end textile industry Quality development. On May 17, at the textile sub-forum of the 19th Yangtze River Delta Science and Technology Forum held in Tongtong, Donghua University and Jiangsu Jicui Professional Degree Postgraduate Training Base, and Nantong University and Jiangsu Jicui Professional Degree Postgraduate Training Base were unveiled. Shen Lei, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Propaganda Department, attended the event and delivered a speech.
Jiangsu Jicui Advanced Fiber Materials Research Institute Co., Ltd. is an innovative R&D institution jointly established by the team of Academician Zhu Meifang of Donghua University, Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute and Nantong Innovation Zone. Focusing on a series of proprietary technologies accumulated over a long period of time by Academician Zhu Meifang’s team in the fiber field, the institute provides support and technical services for the industrial upgrading and innovation-driven development of advanced fiber materials and application technology industries in Jiangsu Province.
Taking the opportunity of establishing a joint postgraduate training base with universities, Jiangsu Jicui Advanced Fiber Materials Research Institute will jointly carry out postgraduate training with universities around the four major application directions of civil, industrial, medical and military applications, with the goal of cultivating practice-oriented, Future-oriented high-level industrial innovation talents will help the textile industry move to the high end and better serve the high-quality development of Jiangsu and the integrated development strategy of the Yangtze River Delta.
