The 12th National Knitting Technology Conference was held in Jinjiang

On May 10, the 12th National Knitting Technology Conference and Production Capacity Matchmaking Conference was held in Jinjiang. Jinjiang Municipal Leader Zhang Jianlong attended the event.

At the meeting, Zhu Meifang, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, said that Jinjiang has already gathered over 700 billion yuan of industrial clusters, among which textiles and shoes and clothing are the two pillars. After years of development, Jinjiang’s textile industry has now formed a complete industrial system integrating chemical fiber, weaving, dyeing and finishing, and garment production, and has given birth to a large number of leading textile industry companies such as Baihong, Xiangxing, Huayu, and Yijin. Jinjiang has a profound industrial foundation, so the conference was chosen to be held in Jinjiang.

The conference also released the top 30 Chinese knitting industry in 2022, with three Jinjiang companies including Fengzhu Textile, Futian Printing and Dyeing, and Xintai on the list.
