National Cotton and Cotton Yarn Product Quality Inspection and Testing Center (Corps) passed the acceptance inspection
Recently, after an on-site assessment by experts organized by the State Administration for Market Regulation, the national cotton and cotton yarn products located in Alar City, No. 1 DivisionQuality Inspection and Testing Center (Corps) passed the assessment and acceptance. The expert group believes that the center’s capacity building has reached the domestic advanced level.
“The acceptance of this center is of great significance. It fills the gap that the Corps does not have a national-level cotton and cotton yarn product quality inspection and testing technical institution, and will provide solid technical support for the development of the textile and garment industry in the division, city and even the Corps.” Deputy Commander of the First Division , said Yin Chao, deputy mayor of Alar City.
It is reported that the National Cotton and Cotton Yarn Product Quality Inspection and Testing Center (Corps) was approved by the State Administration for Market Regulation in January 2021, with the Alar Fiber Inspection Institute as the main body for construction, with a total investment of 24.82 million yuan in construction. Currently, It has 148 sets (sets) of advanced testing equipment such as imported yarn inspection equipment and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Relying on the advantages of the regional cotton industry, the center cooperated with Tarim University and leading enterprises to co-host and participate in 13 scientific research projects such as the “Xinjiang Textile and Garment Technology Collaborative Innovation Center of the Corps”, obtained the national CMA qualification certificate and CNAS accreditation qualification, and established a production base. The integrated scientific research mechanism of academic research and application currently has the ability to carry out testing of more than 200 parameters of 84 products in four categories: cotton fiber, chemical fiber, yarn, textiles and their products.
Yuan Zhixia, the person in charge of the center, introduced that the national quality inspection of cotton and cotton yarn products focuses on the goal of building a national quality inspection center with first-class talents, first-class facilities and first-class management. The Testing Center (PCC) will fully undertake the inspection and testing services for cotton, yarn and textiles in Xinjiang and Xinjiang, and will cooperate with Tarim University to carry out corresponding technical training and scientific research, academic exchanges, technical services, etc.
In terms of accelerating the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in textile and clothing products, the National Cotton and Cotton Yarn Product Quality Inspection and Testing Center (PCC) will rely on the Textile and Clothing Testing Joint Laboratory jointly constructed with Tarim University and the XPCC Key Laboratory of Modern Textile Materials and Technology. Promote investment attraction and industrial agglomeration to add impetus to the high-quality development of the XPCC’s textile and apparel industry.
