According to reports, due to the early discovery of the tomb, the local preservation conditions for cultural relics were insufficient. The unearthed cotton blankets and other cultural relics have been preserved in the Zhejiang Provincial Museum. After 56 years, Mishan cotton blankets finally returned to their “hometown” Lanxi and were exhibited at the Lanxi City Museum.

The special exhibition “Looking for the Song Dynasty: The Story of a Cotton Blanket from the Southern Song Dynasty” is divided into four chapters: “Who is he”, “Why is he immortal”, “Their daily life” and “The mystery of the cotton blanket”, with a total of 62 pieces (sets) presented. cultural relics. The special exhibition will last until March this year.

At the opening ceremony of the special exhibition, Lanxi Municipal Party Committee Secretary Dai Chong said that the thousand-year Song Dynasty charm is still there today, and a cotton blanket reflects the past and present. Through the Mishan cotton blanket, you can not only explore the history of cotton planting and cotton textiles in the Eight-Wu Land, but also connect the history of water transportation, commerce and folk customs of Lanxi.

According to the official website of the Lanxi Municipal People’s Government, the city is located in the west of Jinhua City, in the middle reaches of the Qiantang River, and on the northern edge of the Jinqu Basin.
