In 2013, the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government established the “Fashion Design Pattern Production Subsidy Program” for the first time in 2013 for local fashion designers in Macao. This is a powerful measure to encourage and promote original local fashion design in Macao. Applicants need to submit applications and manuscripts. After two stages of preliminary and re-selection, eight candidates will be selected to enter the project; a professional jury will select the “winners” and their “selected works”. The selected candidate will receive a subsidy to produce fashion design samples and promotional materials, thereby encouraging local fashion designers to carry out commercial activities or participate in international fashion exhibitions and sales activities, improve local fashion design standards, and promote and promote Macao fashion design Results. At the same time, we also hope to use the professional experience of the judges in the fashion field to provide opinions to the participants during the judging process, which will help improve the design concept, marketing and development plans. Since the launch of this program, many local fashion designers have actively applied, which has had a positive impact on the local fashion design industry. Looking back at the “Fashion Subsidy Program”, the results are obvious.
