Canada implements recall of children’s jackets made in China
On October 29, 2019, Health Canada announced a recall of children’s jackets produced in Guangzhou, China.
The recalled product is KidsWorld’s children’s jacket. Jacket with drawstring waist, size medium, pink or orange. Product sold alone or with pants.
The drawstring at the waist of this product may be caught by the vehicle, posing a risk of children being dragged away.
The products recalled were sold in Canada from February 2019 to October 2019, with approximately 11 products sold.
As of October 21, 2019, there were no reports of accidents or casualties.
Health Canada advises consumers to remove drawstrings from clothing immediately to eliminate potential hazards.
