This case involves products under Indian Customs Code 5402.47. The dumping investigation period in this case is from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019 (12 months), and the damage investigation period is from April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017, and from April 1, 2017 to 2018 March 31, 2018, April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019, and the dumping investigation period.

On March 24, 2014, India launched its first anti-dumping sunset review investigation into fully oriented yarn, fully drawn yarn, spun drawn yarn and polyester flat yarn originating in or imported from China, Thailand and Vietnam. On September 22, 2015, the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry made the first anti-dumping sunset review final ruling on fully oriented yarns, fully drawn yarns, spun drawn yarns and polyester flat yarns originating in or imported from China, Thailand and Vietnam. : Since India has not imported any more involved products from Vietnam during the entire damage investigation period, it is recommended to terminate the anti-dumping measures on the products involved in Vietnam; however, it is recommended to continue to impose anti-dumping duties on the products involved in China and Thailand. The final result of the sunset review of anti-dumping for drawn yarn and polyester flat yarn was that it was decided to impose anti-dumping duties on the products involved imported from the above-mentioned countries for a period of 5 years, of which China’s anti-dumping duties ranged from US$256 to US$547/metric ton, and Thailand’s anti-dumping duties ranged from US$57.78 to US$248.63.
