“I fed 19 spring silkworms this year. The total output was more than 1,200 kilograms, and the sales amount was about more than 30,000 yuan. I am going to feed 50 more spring silkworms, autumn silkworms, and late autumn silkworms.” Yingfeng Town Liu Youjin, a sericulture farmer in Xinzhuang Village, said.
“Sericulture is an industry with a short production cycle, quick results, stable sales, and good returns. At present, The market price of fresh cocoons is stable, with the average price of the first batch of cocoons at 26-27 yuan/jin, and the sales volume of the first batch of spring cocoons in the town is expected to reach more than 40,000 kilograms.” said a staff member of the Yingfeng Town Agricultural Comprehensive Station.
